Essence of role

1. Assist the sales team in the development of new business opportunities to achieve contracted revenue targets for Microsoft CRM and related solutions.
2. Become familiar with the capabilities of our solutions which are based on the following principal technologies;, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SharePoint Server, Performance Point Server, SQL Server 2005, BizTalk Server.
3. Technical ability required to maintain and customise complex demonstration environments to show off solution capability to best effect to customers.
4. Create powerful role and industry specific demonstrations to show case Aspective consulting and Microsoft technology capability.
5. Utilise consultative approach to resolving customer’s business problems from the initial assessment of customer requirements through to high level Solution Design and assisting in the creation of Statement of Work ready for commercial agreement.
6. Effective communication, both orally and in writing, to play a key role in the sales team to position high value added propositions at both project and boardroom level.
7. Interfaces with the designated Aspective Consultants responsible for delivery to clarify project scope and transition of technical responsibilities into a delivery function after completion of commercial agreement.
8. Liaise closely with Aspective chosen technology partners during pre-sales engagement.
9. Contribute to multiple customer opportunities in parallel, often with multi-tiered relationships and long campaign life cycles.
10. Provide excellent customer experience which underpins the Aspective and Vodafone brand.

Technical/Professional expertise

  • Confident in presenting complex technical products or services in a pre-sales environment to executives at Enterprise customers
  • Able to enthusiastically demonstrate technology to articulate how customers would benefit and achieve ROI
  • Preferred technical skills include .NET (C# and VB), Microsoft CRM, SharePoint, Java, SQL and SQL Server
  • Domain expertise around CRM deployment best practice
  • Business Consulting skills
  • Educated to degree level with consulting or development background.
