We helped Eneco, a leading energy supplier, to improve efficiency by 18%. They wanted to make the best possible use of their employees’ skills by improving scheduling and access to customer information. We worked with them to implement Field Force Automation (FFA). Field workers now receive data on the move, rather than having to travel to the office to collect and deliver paperwork. Increased automation has reduced the administration burden on engineers and their supervisors, while office based systems and staff have a real time view of the location of all engineers and consequently work can be scheduled more effectively.

  • Engineers capture information faster, reducing the burden of admin and freeing up time for value-added work. Efficiency rose by an estimated 18 per cent.
  • Customers receive excellent service because engineers have constant access to up-to-date information, work to better-organised schedules, and are more able to prioritise technical work over admin.
